For all experience levels in all martial arts – beginners welcome!
Long-sleeved training clothing and long pants are sufficient for starters


 

What Can I Expect during Training?

·      Solo exercises for relaxation and stretching which can also be practiced at home daily

 

·      Basic exercises for rolling and falling on Budo mats which help to reduce the risk of injury from falls in everyday life

 

·      Partner exercises and playful interaction

 

·      Yielding and relaxation as a response to any applied force

 

·      Practicing evasive movements against attacks

 

·      Exercises to refine the perception of balance, pressure, and movement in yourself and your partner

 

·      Exercises for applying effortless power

 

·      Training in following, leading, and other forms of interaction in martial situations

 

·      Techniques for uprooting, throwing, and joint locks

 

·      Exam preparation, if desired

 

 

 

Who Is the Trainer?

 

Frank has been practicing various martial arts since 1977, including Judo and multiple styles of Aikido and Tai Chi.
Since 2011, he has primarily focused on Cheng Hsin and regularly participates in seminars in the USA, Germany, and the Netherlands with founder Peter Ralston and his most advanced students.

 

Frank is grateful to be able to both practice Aikido at AIKIDO-Frankfurt and offer a training opportunity for Cheng Hsin.

Notice periods

The membership of Aikido Frankfurt can be cancelled with effect on June, 30th or December, 31st of each year by giving six weeks' written notice.
